Mann's Auto, by the way, is a shop used by famed vehicle collector Jay Leno. The windshield is clear and crack-free and the lights are in excellent order. The headlights have the parking/turn signals built into the bezels.
This street rod's bodywork is excellent very straight and solid and its engine bay is extremely tidy. The cargo area, with its cherry wood cargo floor, is in excellent shape, though items placed in the bed must share the space with the rod's fuel tank. Truck also sports chrome shock absorbers.
Rolling on 195/70R15 radials in front and 235/75R15 radials in back, this street rod's tires are in very good condition with plenty of tread and each one surrounds a chrome wheel, which are in excellent shape and lend some more bling to this ride.
Behind the beautiful chrome radiator grille is a underhood 400 CID Chevrolet small-block V-8 engine with M/T headers and a Cobra-like air cleaner among other engine accents. This motor breathes via dual exhausts and is mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a Ford nine-inch rear end.
Inside, the black custom bucket seats are in excellent condition while the four-spoke steering wheel is in great shape, as is the tall, floor-mounted shift lever. The body-color instrument panel has a minimalist look with only two gauges, tachometer and coolant temp. There is no electronic audio system in this vehicle, just the engine ahead and the exhaust behind.
