1964 Ford Thunderbird Description

First the good. This car has been my daily driver for over a decade. I drive 6 miles each way to work 3 or 4 times a week and occasionally take it on the highway (where it really likes to run) once or twice a month for car shows or cruises. It runs, steers and brakes like a dream. It never leaves me stranded and starts right up every time. It was sold as a luxury car so it has some great creature comforts such as power steering, power brakes, electric windows etc. It is a mild custom, it has shaved door handles (electric poppers get you in), shaved badges, straight exhaust pipes as well as functioning cut-out side pipes. SimpleArctic White Paint topped with a very subtle Pearl blue, laced roof paint job, make it a three tone. The Vintage Keystone Classic wheels add to the custom vibe which is only topped by the velour interior. The interior is in pretty great shape considering it was probably installed in the early 80's. The Carpets were replaced with brand new 5 or 6 years ago and are in great shape as well. This car glides down the road and is a blast to drive. It boasts a 390 cubic inch big block V8 as well as a 3 speed Automatic transmission and the famous Ford 9 inch rear end. It has plenty of power scooting down the road and sounds great doing it. When I first got the car I replaced the rocker panels, a large majority of the trunk and a few smaller rust spots making it a virtually rust free car.
The bad. The following is simple stuff to fix and tinker with. First, the Air Conditioning Belt Tensioner was missing after I replaced the water pump and Radiator (Oh yeah, those are less than a year old and the radiator is a big tri-core aluminum jobber). I have since found the tensioner and its in the tool box in the trunk. All AC components work but it probably needs a charge, typically it does at the beginning of summer. Next, the little knob that controls the driver side electric seat has broken off flush. I never fixed this because frankly, the seat is set to my position. The speedometer/odometer do not and have not worked as long as I've had the car. I drive like an old lady so it just never bugged me. It's probably just a cable anyway.
Lastly, heres a video tour of the car as well.
