1973 Ford Mustang Convertible Description

Re-listing because of a non-paying bidder. Never sent a deposit, never contacted me. Please: if you don’t intend to follow through, do not bid on my car!

This beautiful ’73 Mustang convertible is undoubtedly the best example you will find anywhere. It is 45 years old, but truly looks like a new car. The car was always senior-owned, never abused, used gently and maintained to a very high standard. Because it was always garaged, the entire body looks like new. There is no rust and it never had any—no repairs or bondo. Study the pictures—the body is 100% perfect and original. All of the metal is original and has never been damaged. Doors, hood and trunk open and close as new; shut lines are factory perfect. You can see from the pictures that the original color shines like new and looks a mile deep. All the chrome and stainless is as new: no dings, dents or blemishes. Mechanically, it is perfect also. The powerful 351 V-8 with dual exhaust provides more than enough power. I 100% believe the 89,000 miles is original. Does not leak, smoke, or make strange noises—starts, runs and drives as new. Steering, brakes, tires, wheels and everything else are perfect and like new. The top is original, goes up and down great. Rear window is glass from the factory. The interior is original, in great condition; the carpet, door panels and dash pad were redone years ago due to discoloration from the sun. All the glass is as new, no chips or scratches. Floors, trunk and all of underneath is rust-free, except for surface discoloration. Under the hood looks in showroom condition; A/C does require freon each spring.

This is definitely a must-see car. Please come to see it and drive it, or send an independent inspector—no disappointments! I have owned it for many years, and would not be selling it but I had a stroke last fall and no longer can drive my classic cars. If you have any questions, I will answer through ebay messages or you can call Fred at 917-721-9919 before 9 p.m. eastern time.
