1963 Ford Thunderbird Convertible Description
NO ZERO (0) FEEDBACK BIDDERS. This is a complete running and driving 1963 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. It features the highly desired color combo of white exterior and red interior. It has power windows, power brakes and power steering, and a power convertible top that works. It has the Cruise-O-Matic three speed automatic transmission. All of the gauges, lights, turn signals, wipers, and horn are working.
There are two sets of wheels included in the auction, the first set is the Kelsey Hayes knock-off wire wheels which have bias ply tires on three of the rims and the second set is the steel rims with the 3 bar spinner wheel covers which have radial tires. The convertible top has a 3 inch slit on the passenger side and the rear window is glazed. In addition there is also a roadster tonneau cover that can be fitted over the rear seats, giving the car the more sporty look of the 2-seater roadster. Inside, the car’s red front buckets and rear seat are in near-excellent shape. There is a crack in the dash,
The paint is flaking at a few places on the car. The car has a few spots of rust: under the battery, the passenger floor pan and the lower rear quarter panels.
The 390 FE motor runs well and it does go down the road pretty well.
Overall she is still a looker and I honestly do not think there is much work needed to drive this car as is, just some minor TLC.
