WILL SELL TO HIGHEST BIDDER WHEN AUCTION IS COMPLETED! EVERY CAR HAS A STORY BUT THIS CAR HAS AN AMAZING STORY!! AN INVENTOR
IN PENDLETON OREGON HAD A GOAL OF BEING THE FIRST TO HAVE A FORD DIESEL
TRUCK. HE PURCHASED A BRAND NEW FORD TRUCK IN PORTLAND OREGON AND DROVE
THE 351 MILES TO HIS HOMETOWN IN PENDLETON OREGON. HIS GOAL WAS TO
CONVERT THE TRUCK TO A DIESEL ENGINE TRUCK AND THEN SELL THIS KIT TO
ANYONE THAT WANTED TO CONVERT HIS GAS TRUCK TO DIESEL. HE FIRST WENT
OUT AND PURCHASED A CHRYSLER NISSAN DIESEL ENGINE WHICH WAS THE DIESEL
OF CHOICE FOR THE INTERNATIONAL SCOUTS OF THAT ERA. THE ENGINE WAS THE
SD33 MODEL. HE LINKED THE ENGINE UP WITH THE 727 CHRYSLER TRANSMISSION.
THE SD33 SERIES ENGINES SAW EXTENSIVE USE IN COMMERCIAL, STATIONARY, AND
MARINE APPLICATIONS ALL OVER THE WORLD.
THE NATURALLY ASPIRATED SD-33 WAS A FOUR MAIN BEARING INDIRECT- INJECTION
ENGINE WITH DRY SLEEVES. THE DIESELS COULD EASILY BREAK THE 20 MPG BARRIER
ON THE HIGHWAY.

THE ENGINE WAS MATED TO THE WORLD RENOWN 727 CHRYSLER TRANSMISSION TO
MAKE A SUPERB UNIT FOR DRIVING.
A TURBO WILL GO WITH THE TRUCK IF ANYONE WOULD WANT TO CONVERT TO THAT
CONFIGURATION. IT IS THE CORRECT UNIT THAT CAN CONVERT THE SD33 TO TURBO.

THE TRUCK STARTS UP LIKE ANY OTHER DIESEL WITH A GLOWPLUG, ETC.

METER READING AS OF TODAY IS 11 HOURS TOTAL SINCE ITS CREATION.

THE TRUCK WAS ACQUIRED BY A LOCAL COLLECTOR OF FAMOUS COLLECTOR
CARS . ONE OF HIS COLLECTOR CARS WAS PURCHASED BY JAY LENO OF TONIGHT
SHOW FAME. THE COLLECTOR RECENTLY PASSED AWAY AND NOW THE TRUCK IS
UP FOR SALE TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER
THE TIRES ARE ALL ORIGINAL WHEN THE TRUCK WAS PURCHASED IN 1976!!

THE TRUCK STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL 1975 TIRES THAT WERE PUT ON THIS 1976
MODEL. EACH TIRE HAS THE CORRECT DATE CODE FOR THAT YEAR. ALL STILL IN
PRISTINE CONDITION DUE TO THE DRY STORAGE ON THE TRUCK. ALL ARE BIAS PLY
TIRES AS WAS THE CHOICE OF MANY BUYERS STILL IN 1976.
THE TRUCK HAS THE FORD FACTORY BED COVER OFFERED IN 1976 FROM THE DEALER.
THE BED OF THE TRUCK IS LIKE NEW.
THE INTERIOR OF COURSE IS ALL ORIGINAL AND PRISTINE.
THE TRUCK EXTERIOR IS ALL 100% ORIGINAL AND THE PAINT LOOKS JUST AS IT DID
IN 1976 WHEN IT DROVE OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR. STILL HAS THE FACTORY DOUBLE
TAPE STRIPE FROM THE FACTORY IN ORANGE.
THE PAINT CODE F FOR THE FORD ***DARK GINGER METALLIC.***
THE PAINT CONDITION IS AWESOME. REALLY SHINES! BEAUTIFUL COLOR!
THE FRONT AND REAR OF THE TRUCK ARE PRISTINE AS WELL. THE DRY STORAGE
ALL THESE YEARS REALLY KEPT THE TRUCK NICE.
UNDERNEATH THE TRUCK IS AMAZING. STILL HAS THE FACTORY RED PRIMERS THAT
WERE COMMONPLACE DURING THAT ERA. NICE AND CLEAN. NO UNDERCOATING SO
YOU CAN REALLY SEE THE ORIGINALITY THROUGHOUT.
ALL THE INNER FENDER WELLS ARE LIKE NEW AS WELL. PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES ON EBAY.
GAS TANK AND MUFFLERS STILL LIKE NEW.
