1963 Ford Galaxie 500xl Description

Up for auction is my 1963 Ford Galaxie 500xl convertible. I am the second owner. I restored this over the last few years and unfortunately need to let someone else enjoy it. There are many extras I have done during this build and I will list them below. The few things it does need are.....Convertible top is not done. The skeleton is there and it does go up and down. Just needs the cloth. Needs sun visors. Needs rearview mirror. Everything else has been either replaced or restored. Now on to what had been done. The engine has been completely rebuilt with the SURVIVAL Scat 9000 fe stroker kit. It is the original 390fe block that was used. This kit makes it about 445ci. It has a 390 performer aluminum intake with an edelbrock 650. Sampson shorty headers and magnaflow duel exhaust. This engine has less than 100 miles on it. The radiator is a 4 row Griffin. It has a Flowkooler hi flow waterpump and a Spal puller fan. It is backed with a C6 transmission. I have the original cruise o matic that will come with the winner if wanted. No problems with it. I replaced the power assist with the classic performance power steering conversion kit. This adds a gearbox for better handling and steering with none of the typical leaks from that system. All front end parts and bushings are new. Front disc brake conversion kit and power brakes. Points and condenser conversion to electronic. All body work done with very little filler. New paint is original Corinthian white. Interior is brand new from Dearborn classics. Interior and exterior colors are done to match original scheme from trim plate. I think I covered it all. If you have any questions please ask and thanks for looking.
