Here is a 1977 Ford LTD landau with 110k miles on it. The gentleman( I had done business with him before, butnow he is deceasedthat had this car was the 2nd owner, his father bought it new. He never drove it, and his mother gave it to him 05. This has mostly just been sitting around the barn since. I got it put some gas in the tank and seen it leaking right back out. The fuel tank has a small leak by the right side fuel tank strap. So it needs a new fuel tank. Which I should have knew that because he told me last time he had it running he had to dump some gas down the carb and it backfired and burned a little bit on the valve cover and melted some plastic by the wiring on the firewall. I took close ups of that. I don't have the air cleaner for the car. Car is not rusted out. I looked at all the frame and floor pans and trunk pan I did not see any rust holes, or really any scale on the frame or floor boards. Interior is all original. I don't see any rips or tears in the seats or dash board. It is just faded. Door opens and closes good. They are not rusty. Little bit of rust bubbles by bottom quarter panels. But nothing major at all. Tires are all old and dry cracked. Car runs and engine sounds quiet. We can dump some gas in carb to hear it run. Not much reason to put gas in the tank just for it to leak out. Clear Indiana title. I seen a little bit rust under vinyl top by back window. But don't think very bad. I took a close up by the back window. Vinyl top is ripping and coming loose. Hub caps are thunderbird, not original LTD. This has fender skirts as you can see. I think they are factory add on option. This overall is a decent car. To bad it was something older and cooler in this condition.Please check out the pictures good.
