Selling my highly customized 1966 Mustang Coupe. This car was professionally built by Bay City Classics in Norfolk, Virginia. I have over $50K in this car. I started with a 6 cylinder mustang shell. The body had little rust. There are a couple of patches in the floors and the lower rear quarters have been replaced. Drip rails have been shaved. It has 5 lug rear end out of a V8 mustang that has all new bearings, seals, brakes and wheel cylinders. Door shells are new. It has a Shelby style fiberglass hood with scoop and GT foglights. All emblems, grill and bumpers are new. Windshield, back glass and door glass are all new. All weatherstripping is new.
Engine is an early 70s 302 that was rebuilt by The Head Shop in Virginia Beach, Virginia and has 69 351W heads that have been ported and tapped for studs for roller rockers. Has an aggressive comp cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake and Holley 600 cfm carb, headers and dual exhaust. It has a Borgeson power steering conversion. This is true power steering, not the power-assist ram you got from the factory. VintageAir air conditioning has been added. Power front disc brakes from SSBC have been added. All brake and fuel lines and gas tank are new. All front steering and suspension components are new. It has new 1" lowering leaf springs on the rear and new shocks all around. The C4 automatic transmission was built by Gary's Transmission in Norfolk, Virginia. BFG Radial TAs and wheels are new.
Has a new Pony Interior. Seats have new foam. Gauges have been refurbished. Has wood steering wheel and Custom AutoSound stereo with speakers in the kick panels and rear package tray. Seat belts, door panels, headliner, carpet, door handles, window cranks and most interior trim is new.
This is a quality build with the best parts I could source. Car sounds great, looks amazing and runs and drives better than new. It gets a lot of attention at car shows and cruise-ins and I often hear that it is the nicest coupe people have seen. I would drive this car anywhere or even use as a daily. I am selling to raise funds for a '69 sportroof I am building.
Car is available for inspections. Mileage is not actual. It is driven regularly, so mileage will go up some. It will be fully detailed at time of delivery. I will work with your shipper. $500 deposit required by winning bidder and balance must be paid via certified funds or wire transfer within seven days. I will work with international brokers.
