The Ford Fairlane is an automobile model that was sold between 1955 and 1970 by Ford in North America. The name is derived from Henry Ford's estate, Fair Lane, near Dearborn, Michigan.
I HAVE OWNED THIS FORD FAIRLANE TOWN SEDAN SINCE 2002. I USED TO DRIVE MY KIDS AROUND MALIBU TO GO SURFING IN IT. LATER I STARTED TO RESTORE THE CAR, BUT FELL ILL AND NEVER GOT TO FINISH IT. WHEN I PARKED THE CAR IT RAN. IT HAS BEEN SITTING. I KNOW THAT IT WILL START WITH A NEW BATTERY AND SOME CARBURETOR TINKERING. THIS A PROJECT CAR. SELLING IT AS IS. IT HAS CLEAN TITLE. I PUT IT ON NO-OP JUST BEFORE MY SURGERY.
THE ORIGINAL RADIO AND ALL ORIGINAL CHROME TRIM IS IN THE TRUNK. CAR HAS BOTH BACK & FRONT SEATS. ALL THE CHROME TRIM HAS BEEN STORED IN THE CAR TRUNK. BOTH SEATS TO CAR ARE INSIDE CAR. THE ONLY RUST IS MINOR AND EASILY SANDED AND TREATED, NO BODY ROT. THE TITLE IS CLEAN. I FILED A NON-OP WITH THE DMV BEFORE MY SURGERY.
THE ORIGINAL FACTORY PAINT WAS WHITE AND YELLOW. I ATTACHED A PHOTO.
The reserve is $2,000 - the car is worth $2,700 as is.
It has all mechanical parts, original trim, radio, and seats.
It will start with a new battery, carburetor tinkering and wiring.
