1965 Ford Mustang Description

THIS IS A TRUE NO RESERVE AUCTION SO PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU CAN'T PAY FOR THE VEHICLE. THE LAST BIDDER WILL BE EXPECTED TO COMPLETE THIS PURCHASE FOR THEIR BID AMOUNT!
IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY DRIVERS DOOR DATA PLATE so I can give no info on any of that. It does have the visible serial number stamped on left front fender apron in 2 spots. This was just a basic 1965 Mustang Coupe so nothing on the data tag would make any differencein the price anyhow. You can order new tags to basically say any info you want anyhow.

Nicely restored 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe. This is an original C code V8 car with a built up 302 with aluminum intake and Holley 4 barrel carb. It has a rebuilt green dot 1965 C4 automatic transmission it it. The new aluminum radiator keeps it running at 190 degrees in the desert heat. Dual exhaust with glass packs and the GT exhaust trumpets out the back give it a great rumble. The car is lowered 1.5 inches with shorter front coil springs and aluminum blocks above the rear end. It has new 15 inch tires and old school aluminum wheels with Bullet center caps.It has a base coat Black paint with Red metallic in the first coat of clear. The original 2005 Mustang GT hood scoop adds a subtle hint of the performance under the hood. The Cobra grille insert has been replaced with the stock running pony emblem and the Cobra gas cap has been replaced with an original 1965 Mustang gas cap. The Red interior and Black carpet are mostly new. The dash pad has been removed and the dash smoothed to give it a nice clean look. The wire harness was upgraded to use 1966 gauge cluster so it has oil and temp and amp gauges now. The dash temp gauge didn't work so I installed a direct temp gauge so I could keep an eye on the temp out here in the heat. This is a CA / NV car and the only rust repair was the left front outer floor piece and a small patch in each lower front door corner. There are just too many things to say so I'll just say this is a very nice daily driver or weekend show cruiser 1965 Mustang Coupe with new paint and lots of new parts like engine, trans, bumper, grille, interior etc..

I do have a video of the engine running if you text your phone number to my cell of 763-291-0343 I can text it to you. I can't email it though. It has a quick walk around of the car too but remember I swapped out the Cobra emblem in the grille for a stock running pony emblem and the cobra gas cap for a standard 65 gas cap. I used those items on a different project. Thank for Looking and HAVE A GREAT DAY ! :-)

I found the door tag and installed it ! It reads as follows : Body 65, Color , Trim 2, Date 04, DSO 7, Axle , Trans 6 and warranty number 5R07C193205 which is the serial number of the car.
I've added a picture of the ID tag installed on the door. You can see in the picture that I even added the Red metal flake in the jambs ! I also installed original wiper arms with new blades and included a picture of those. And lastly I added a picture of the restored interior of the trunk.

I've had some over sea's people ask for engine ID numbers. So I looked and found the block casting number is C8OE- 6015-A which decodes as a 1968 and later 302 the partial vin on the rear of the block is 0F531795. The engine has a Edelbrock Torker 302 intake manifold with a Holley 600 carb. And it has Edelbrock aluminum valve covers on it. That's all the info I have for you.
