1967 Ford Mustang: 31,500 mile restored Arizone car in Frost Turquoise
1967 Ford Mustang coupe Description
1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. 31,000 original Arizona miles. Everything works and is a joy to drive. Seams are straight and clean with no rust. According to the MARTI report, the car was built in San Jose. Order received 10/31/66, serialized on 11/1/66, scheduled for build on 11/09/66, built on 11/8/66, released on 11/9/66, and sold on 11/17/66. The car was sold to Holmes Tuttle Bry Ford in Tucson, AZ. The car was completed in Frost Turquoise (only 9,819 of 472,121 1967 Mustangs were painted this beautiful color (very rare 2%) with a standard blue interior. The car has the famous 289ci engine with a 2bbl Holly carburetor (stock 200HP), Cruise-O-Mattic 3-speed automatic transmission on floor (2.79 gear ratio), power front disc brakes, power steering, tinted glass, remote left hand mirror, added right hand mirror, Select-Aire Air conditioning, Push-Button AM radio (works but hard to keep a station), deluxe wire wheel covers, added electric clock, wood steering wheel, and deluxe seat belts. Car averages 15-16 mpg on mid grade unleaded.
My wife bought the car from a friend who is a Mustang fanatic in AZ. The car was restored at 30,000 miles. The car has had a steel plate installed behind the rear seat instead of cardboard for safety. My wife and I have recently downsized to a smaller home in June as I'm retired, and we're going to downsize to 1 antique car. We also have a 1955 Pontiac Star Chief for sale on eBay, and we'll pick a new antique together - perhaps a convertible. We had a few little things fixed (heater control box, valve, worn hoses and wiring, and passenger door hinge), as well as the mentioned added clock and passenger mirror. Only issue at this point are occasional AC condensation seepage into the passenger floor mat. During the repairs I was told that the frame had been hit which causes the slight tip to the car; this is cosmetic and does not effect driving. Immediate $500 non refundable deposit by PayPal. I have described the car faithfully and accurately; no warranty is expressed or implied. Car is sold as is. I recommend you come to MA and see this beautiful car in person, or have it inspected by a third party. I've been on eBay for 20 years as a buyer and seller with 100% positive feedback, so bid with confidence. Car can be picked up locally, or buyer needs to arrange transport. Remaining payment to be in the form of a cashier's check and funds must clear before car is released. We are the holders of the title.
