1932 Ford Other Description
You are viewing a 1932 Ford passenger car hotrod chassis. This piece was built by the legendary Squeek Bell from Bakersfield, California. The chassis was built and never used. There is a original heavy dropped axle with the reversed main spring, stock shocks, 40 brakes, F-100 steering box, 9" rearend mounted on the traditional buggy spring style and 36 axle rods and The steering wheel is an original standard 40 in excellent condition. The wheels are 16" steelies with fresh semi-gloss powder coating. The tires are in excellent condition. The engine is a 59 24 stud. The engine starts and runs smoothly. The clutch and transmission are fine. The emergency brake assembly is complete and operating perfectly. The engine is running off the factory fuel pump from the tank. The original pedal assembly and master cylinder was installed by Eric Hannsen of Scandinavia Street Rods using the traditional brake distribution assembly. The brakes lines are installed up to the master. That junction needs finishing but the lines are there. The front and rear spreader bars are reproduction. The tail light wiring is also installed using period wire and casing. This is a near turnkey chassis and would require very little to be ready for a body.
