1969 Ford Mustang GT S-code 390 Convertible, 390 V8 engine, C-6 Cruise-o-matic transmission, GT equipment group, pre-production show unit: 1 of 34 convertible pre-production show units delivered to Ford's transportation services (DSO 89) prior to regular production of the 1969 mustangs! manufactured at the Metuchen Assembly plant, it is 1 of 251 1969 mustang convertibles that came with the 390 Cubic inch S-code engine, not numbers matching, power steering, power brakes (front disc brakes, power convertible top, electric clock, visibility group, console,tilt away steering wheel, speed control, power ventilation, am/fm stereo, interior décor group, deluxe belts/warning lights, chrome styled steel wheels, front bumper guards, important dates- 1) order received on June 3rd, 1968 2) scheduled for build - July 4th, 1968 3) Actually built - August 26th, 1968,Statistics of this car 1) 1 of 1,516 with this paint code 2) 1 of 262 with these paint/trimcodes 3) 1 of 146 with these engine/transmission codes 4) 1 of 115 ordered from this DSO 5) 1 of 1,127 with equipment Group, paint color is Silver Jade Ford #3230-A, very good straight body, Paint looks very good, has some normal chips/blemishes due to normal age & driving, interior looks really nice, engine& engine compartment look nice and presentable, all glass is good throughout the car,the hood (which is sometimes common) needs slight alignment which I hope to look at this week, exhaust system has avery good sound to it, weather stripping/moldings are good, inspections are welcome and encouraged, this mustang isa special and great driving car that is above driver quality condition and readyfor someone to enjoy with the upcomingfall weather :), I have taken good videos of the car so just send me your email requesting to see them, I am also very happy to help arrange transporting the mustang to the buyers hometown so just askand I will help arrange in hopes of making things easier, simply put this is a reallybeautiful and great running car that could be a daily driver- a weekendfun car or even take to local car shows for fun...………….
