My friend ask me to broker his truck and sell it on his behalf.
Offered here is a rare opportunity to buy a real Hot Rod of the period owned by the builder for 61 years. This 1929 Ford Roadster Pickup was built into a hot rod in 1957 when the owner acquired it. For nearly 10 years it ran an Olds engine until it became a problem. In 1968 the owner found a Chevy 327 and completely went over the motor. He then installed it in the pickup. At that time it was the Blue you see now, but had a blue and white tuck & roll interior. Sometime in the late 90's or early 2000's he had the fabric interior you see here for added comfort. This truck starts easy, runs smooth and strong and looks great for it's age. Here are more details:
Early Ford front hydraulic brakes
48 Ford spindles
48 Ford rear
39 Ford 3 speed transmission
slave cylinder for clutch
Ross steering box
All steel
gas tank under bed
68 Chevy 327 motor
Crager wheels
PA State inspected till Sept 2019 (or about)
If you want a “real” Hot Rod you can drive and enjoy, this could be it.
