Ford Mustang 1966 fastback C code
1966 Ford Mustang Description
1966 Mustang fastback C code which means originally it came with a 289. Also it has an R in the vin which means it came from the San Jose plant. This also has a state of california title with the last guy signing off and it shows a purchase price of 16K. I am guessing the last guy took the parts off the car and figured out he overpaid and then just sold it. I will give you a bill of sale for the current purchase price. I was going to rebody the car from a rust free coupe that I bought in California I thought that was going to be the easiest way to get this car up and going again. Shortly I will have that car up on ebay so if you want to buy that also you can. However we have restored worse cars then this at our shop before and the rockers and rear transistion pan look to be good. Please look at the car it either needs to be rebodied or it needs a lot of work. The great thing is this car started out as a 289 car so you cant change that and also it started out as a California car and that cant be changed. It does however need a lot of panel replacement. Many times a car comes into our shop looking great and then we have it media blasted and it needs all the work just the same as this car. At least with this car you know exactly what you have to start with. This car is located in Cannon Falls Mn which is just about a half hour south of St Paul.
This car does have a rear end in it and also the front suspension and some of it looks like it is usable. The car will have rollers on it the tires and wheels on it right now are just for the picture. Call with any questions and I am happy to look the car over to tell you what you might want to know. We can help with loading if needed or if you are close by I can do the shipping myself for a fair wage. Thanks Kevin Manley 612-275-8722
