1956 Ford Crown Victoria Fairlane Description

.
***RED AND WHITE INTERIOR --- VERY SHARP --- DRIVES GREAT***
***292 M CODE V-8 ENGINE --- POWER STEERING --- CONTINENTAL KIT***

This is a 1956 Ford Crown Victoria in Fiesta Red and Colonial White with red and white interior. The owner passed away recently and his widow asked me to list the car. The car was purchased about 45 years ago and restored by the owner, his cousin and a man who worked at a restoration shop who did most of the work. It is an older restoration but still looks great. It has won many local car show awards including best in show. One of the owner's sons took it to a show this spring and won an award. The interior is especially sharp in red and white upholstery with red dash and red carpet. Dash has the original gauges that all work. The AM radio is in the dash but there is an AM/FM/Cassette stereo in the glove box that works fine. Engine is the "M" code Thunderbird 292 with four barrel carburetor. The owner upgraded the intake to the 1957 one so it has a modern Holley four barrel carburetor. Engine fires right up and runs smoothly and quietly. Steering is power and works fine. Car is a good driver. Tires are E78-15 with 3-inch wide white walls that really look great with the red and white body. I did notice a couple of small dings in the stainless. Paint shines well and the car really gets noticed. Email any question and if you'd like to see the car call me at 804-five nine zero-0718.

It has the rear antenna with red lens. Body is very solid and straight.
