Up for auction is this garage find 1966 Ford Mustang convertible,Vin number 6F08C110118 . The current titled owner purchased this car in 1985 and is the third owner since new . Original 289 3 speed car that presently has an original 271HP 289 Hi-Po engine with 351 W heads and has been converted to a 4 speed transmission and Hurst shifter. The Lighter duty 8” Ford rear end was also replaced with Ford 9” with 3:50 gears to match the 289 Hi-Po drive train . The car was restored many years ago with all necessary rust repair performed with new floor pans etc. with frame connectors added for additional strength . Engine dress kit with Cobra valve covers, roller rocker, Mallory ignition,MSD box, Koni shocks, Global West suspension, Headers with dual free flow exhaust, Ford Mustang Magnum wheels, tinted glass, power convertible top. This car looks and runs great.The car was put into the garage for storage and has been there for some time. Took it out washed it up charged the battery and it started right up, smoked a little when started but runs strong and smooth . Clean Mass Title.
