1971 Ford F-100 Shortbed
1971 Ford F-100 Description
I've own the truck for about 10 years. It spent all its life in Oregon until we moved to Kentucky in 2013. I rebuilt the motor myself. It's a1993 302H.O. unbored, new rings, bearings, gaskets and seals, oil pump, water pump, roller timing chain, gt40p heads with Crane roller rockers and roller lifters, new Holley 600cfm with Stealth intake, MSD Probillit Ignition. The motor came from a Thunderbird with just under 100k miles. I replaced the seat with new upholstery. Transmission is a rebuilt aod from a 1990 f150. The overdrive transmission allows for nice cruising speed of 70mph at around 2200 rpm. I averaged 18 mpg on the drive from Portland, Or to Lexington, KY. I had ZERO issues driving it across country and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere! Lots of new parts. Bumpers, door seals, wheel bearings, 9" rearend completely rebuilt with TracLoc 3.89 gears, clutches, bearings, and seals. New brake calipers (disc front) brake cylinders (drum rear). Truck has aftermarket ac, tilt column, power steering, power brakes, intermittent wipers, good BFGoodrich tires, rhino liner. The truck is solid, not a rust bucket. Paint is Wimbledon White. It's the paint that was on the truck when I bought it with exception of small area on upper driver side bed. It had a small dent that I had a shop repair. The emergency brake, gauges, and lights work (even the door courtesy light). Please ask questions before bidding. The truck is located in Lexington, KY. I can work with your shipping company to have it trailered. I’m available to show the truck by appointment. The winning bidder pays $1000 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours or your bid will be canceled. The balance is to be paid via wire, cash, or certified bank check. Title and truck will not be released until funds are received.
The truck has a clean/clear Kentucky Title. The odometer currently reads 54,501 miles. It does NOT indicate the odometer is inaccurate or rolled over. That being said, I have no way of proving the mileage. When I bought it in Oregon, the truck had 48k miles. That title also did not state that mileage was inaccurate.
