Description
This 1953 Ford F100 Pickup Truck Built by Torok's Garage and Restorations in Fords N.J.
The Truck has undergone a complete Frame Off Restoration with many modern features!
This build starts out on a clean factory chassis that's been sandblasted, boxed reinforced primed and the frame was painted with a Black textured bed liner urethane
An IFS front suspension system was added with Tubular upper and lower control Arms a Power rack and Pinion steering.
This is complimented by a Frame mounted power brakes set up going to front Discs and Rear Drums.
Holding the rear tires to the ground is a top of the Line 4 bar / 4 link Coil over set up attached to a brand new PEM Racing Ford 9-inch rear end with a true posi track center section with a good drivable 3:73 street gears.
The heart of this build is powered by a Chevy 383ci Stroker V8 Engine Married to a 400 turbo 3-Speed Automatic Transmission with stall converter and shift kit.
All this sits on brand new Torque Thrust II's wheels
With 235/45-R18 on a 18x8 rim in the front and a 315/55-R20 on 20x10's in the rear.
The rear suspension has the provisions to hold up to an 18.5-inch-wide tire. If you prefer
All this is then mated up to a low mileage cab that spent its years on a local farm in N.J.
The cab was sand blasted had a custom firewall installed new floors cowl panels and rockers to provide a truly solid rust free piece.
The rest of the truck was assembled from all brand new reproduction rust free parts purchased from SoCal, Mid fifty ford, and LMC.
The bed has been tubbed with a 7-inch wheel tubbed that will accommodate a 18.5 inch tire.
Finishing the bed off is a nicely stained white oak floor with a Ford Motor Corp. Detroit Mich.original emblem burned into the wood.
As for the interior she's finished off with Mid Fifties ABS door panels headliner rear cab panels and a new black LMC Rug. A Custom Leather and suede seat was built by TMI and mounted on one of their custom adjustable slide tracks.
The steering is a billet IDIDIT column with a new Dolphin 6 Gauge Set up that modernizes this interior that also includes a 7-inch Pioneer touch screen DVD radio equipped with Bluetooth wireless call navigation and Back up camera and parking sensors. You can listen to this Beast run through a custom set of ceramic coated long tube headers going to 3-inch Flow master Super 10 series mufflers with dumps. Between the look stance and sound of this truck. You will always be the center of attention. This truck is a show stopper and has drawn a crowd at every show it's been too and has never came home without a trophy.
This truck was built in the shops spare time with creature comfort and the new owner in mind...it has been lettered up with the shops name it vinyl lettering so the lettering does come off the doors.
Truck was painted very simple in single stage Satin Hot Rod black primer Finish...
Nothing fancy. This paint gives the truck that aged look.
But the Body is clean and straight enough that it could hold a laser straight paint job of your choosing...
It has that classic old hot rod farm truck look but at second glance you really see what a performance machine this truck really is.
