1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback Description
Nice early 1965 Mustang 2+2 in Wimbledon white with standard bright red interior. Started life as a six cylinder, four speed car but has received a full V8 conversion including springs, steering linkage, five lugs, 289 engine and 4 speed Toploader transmission. Some under hood sheet metal was replaced by a prior owner, so there is no under hood VIN, but the door tag is complete and accurate and the car has a clean title. This is an older refresh (paint, interior, engine rebuild) but is in very nice driver condition. Engine has about 35k miles on it and runs well. The paint is in driver quality condition with a few chips/flaws but overall looks nice and receives many compliments. Also included, but not installed, is a brand new Flaming River steering box, an original steering wheel with horn hub and the original rear trap door to the trunk, painted and uncut. This is a fun car I've owned for many years and it has been in many cars shows, etc. I have too many cars and projects, so it's time to sell this one.
