1994 Ford F-250 XLT Description

Up for sale is my untouched, original, 99.9% rust free southern F-250. I’ve owned the truck for about two years and have only put about 8,000 miles on it. It mostly sits in the garage. This particular truck started its life in New Mexico with the original owner and eventually made its way to Kansas/Missouri, where I purchased it from. The prior owners used this truck to camp with – the entire bed was carpeted and padded with built in storage and also had a matching bed topper on it. Fortunately, none of the built-ins were attached, so all of the original sheet metal was preserved – everything was simply built and fit into place. The bed had never been used to haul anything in its 24 years on the road. I removed all of this so that I could use the truck occasionally as it was originally intended. I still have the topper, that is painted to match the truck, if the buyer wants it, but one of the glass panels is broken.
I’ve made very few modifications to the truck since I got it because I wanted to maintain originality. I added window tint, stainless bedrails and aftermarket radio (original radio still works and will be included with sale). I also upgraded the alternator to a 3G 130amp Motorcraft unit since the original 2G unit is fire-prone. I will include the original alternator, as well, if you want to convert back for show purposes. Lastly, I installed an autodimming/compass rearview mirror. Otherwise, the truck remains bone stock. Original exhaust, original paint and chrome, etc.
The exterior of the truck is extremely nice. I pulled the bed when I got it and POR-15’d part of the frame and underside of the bed. All of the original body panels are still there! No accidents or body work EVER! Exterior paint is palomino metallic which is one of the more uncommon colors for this era. It is original and shows VERY well. There is no fading and the clearcoat is still glossy and intact. There are some blemishes here and there that have been touched up. I considered fixing some of these areas and having them painted, but it’s only original once, so I left it as it is. Most of these areas could be addressed very cheaply with a near show quality job being the result. There is one very small area above the RR wheel well where the clearcoat has raised slightly about the size of a dime, otherwise, no rust visible anywhere on the entire truck. The bed has both a Ford drop-in bedliner as well as the original rubber bed mat that the truck had when I bought it. I replaced the tires with a matching set of Michelins LTX M/Ss about 6,000 miles ago.
The interior is just as nice, if not nicer than the exterior. Original headliner, carpet and seats all in very nice condition. Everything has such minimal wear that it is close to new. The dashpad did develop a small crack inside of the radio opening, but has not progressed to the top. I have been searching for a replacement, but have not found one yet. Tan interior color seems to be a little harder to find.
Mechanically, the truck is in great condition. It has its original 460 as well as the E4OD transmission. I changed the transmission pan to the later style 4R100 with the built in drain on it. All of the fluids have been changed in the entire truck. Belts and hoses have been changed. Whatever the truck has needed it has gotten and I always use Ford parts when available. Engine runs terrific and does not use any oil. It is thirsty, however, as all 460s are. Transmission shifts just like new. 4x4 works perfectly. Heat and A/C are also in perfect operating condition.
I’ve got all the service records since I purchased as well as the Carfax report, original owner’s books and about four sets of keys with two factory keyless entry key fobs. I also have a copy of the title showing its transfer from New Mexico to Kansas and the original dealer salesperson card. All of this will go to new owner.
Only reason that I am selling is because I am getting married and will soon have five vehicles. Unfortunately, I don’t have room to keep them all and I refuse to drive this truck in the winter or let it sit outside and ruin the perfect body on it. It gets attention wherever it goes and I get people coming up to me all the time asking about it. I have clear title in my possession, which will not be released until payment is made in full and cleared. If there are any questions, please contact me as I'd be happy to discuss the truck at length.
And, NO I will not sell it for a ridiculously low price.
