1956 Thunderbird Personal Luxury VehicleHard top & Factory Soft Top
If you arethinkingof buying a two place Ford Thunderbirds 1955-56-57 personal luxury car, you are probably aware that this truly iconic car has been highly regarded by collectors for some time. Of the three years, the two most desirable years being 1956 and 1957. The difference being that the 1956 is considered much more elegant with the continental kit and some fabulous colors that were not used in 1957. 1957 has its own set of design lines. When it comes to the 1956 Thunderbird, how they are equipped is very important. It seems that everybody wants the Thunderbird with power steering, power brakes and possibly some non-visual but important upgrades. The most important thing in the end for the 1956 Thunderbird that distinguishes it from the others are the very unique colors. Many collectors love the very unique color this photogenic car with thecomplimentarybrown and white interior.

The car that is offered in this ad pushes all the buttons. It is a 1956 Thunderbird with the continental kit, two tops with the factory soft top being like new condition. Very nice brown and white vinyl interior. The hardtop is the way the factory put the color combination together. The car that you see here was a body up restoration about 20+ years ago, everything was taken down to bare metal and everything was replaced as it was restored. Odometer reads 56401 and is believed to be original. The car is rust free.

The car has power steering, power brakes, power windows and power seats. Automatic transmission. The engine runs fine. Upgraded radiator. Newer radial tires less than a 1,000 miles on them. Deluxe wire wheel hubcaps which look like real wire wheels and really add elegance to the car. Mechanically everything is working as it should. The clock was rebuilt. Both the engine and trunk compartments are tidy.

Everybody knows that a 2-seater Thunderbird will always draw a crowd but this 1956 Thunderbird always makes everybody smile. As you can see from the photos this color makes the car extremely photogenic. Even if the people stopping to admire the car are not interested in collector cars they are always in awe of this particular Thunderbird because of the color scheme. It is a fine running car and is serviced and maintained. You can't drive this car without smiling. Everybody seems to love the Early Birds.

When I take this car out for a cruise, everybody waves, honks and smiles. If I stop along the way people come up and look at the car. It just brings a lot of joy wherever it goes.

If you are looking for a two place Thunderbird and you already know that 1956 is the year that you want than you should know that this is a striking color scheme. I have owned this car for several years and it has never given me a problem and certainly believe that the next care taker will be delighted with the car.
