1953 Ford Custom Line 2 door 50th Anniversary Edition Description
1953 50th Anniversary Edition Ford Customline 2 door sedan. Flathead v8 with Overdrive True Survivor car. 30 YEARS IN DRY STORAGE
I have done my part to get her up and running and back on the road, I've been too busy to be able to take her any further. The rest is up to someone else. I want to share all of the information that I have on her good and bad so the next person can take her the rest of the way with a good head start and accurate information. All services can be verified by the local classic car shop that did the work. This shop has worked on classic vehicles for over 40 years.
History: This car sat indoors in a steel building from 1989 to just recently. It is a true survivor car with almost no rust on the body. I've taken pictures from just about every angle including the undercarriage when she was on the lift when we had all the brakes redone. Please review closely. You are simply not going to find a car like this with a body so true for the money. No one has beat on,cut up or molested it inside or out.ODOMETER Reads 29K but doubtful thats the original mileage.
The Shop got her started and running. The gears ran through great. She drives REALLY smooth and comfortable. The brakes now stop on a dime. Have video of her first drive. See below for all details. All work can be verified.

*Although the engine runs surprisingly well after sitting so long we noticed #7 piston sticking and has low compression. It Will need attention at some point down the road.
We have steamed cleaned the carpet and seats. The seats are in decent usable condition. The headliner is amazing and looks almost new. Interior door panels ready to go back on. See pictures. Have door jams but they are aftermarket. The mirrors appear to be aftermarket. Everything else is original. Has all correct badges. Comes with owners manual and shop manual. (Pictured)
Where we are at now: I am happy to fire her up for you. Unfortunately, the gas tank that we had boiled brought some particles through the line and clogged the fuel system. Not a major deal but something I can't get to. I had the shop look at it and the fuel pump and everything else is working as it should. We fire it up from the carb with fresh gas. I don't have time to get to it so that fix is reflected in the price. Here's your chance to get an honest straightclassic that you can style in any direction & can be driving in no time.
Serious inquiries only please. Title in hand.
BONUS PARTS: Get me close to my asking price and I will throw in a whole bunch of back up duplicate parts that you can store for later or see as you see fit.
