1946 Ford Business Coupe Super-Deluxe Description

1946 FORD Business Coupe, pro-built street rod. NYS Safety inspected for 2018. Completed 3 years ago at a cost of over $50,000.00. This car is ALL steel, no plastic/fiberglass parts. Entire car was media-stripped to bare steel and built up from there. Frame is black PPG enamel, body is base /clear 2 tone. Light green, (an original ford color) and white, also a Ford color. All trim is either refinished or new, bumpers replated. Some of the features are as follows:

Engine, original Flathead 120hp. Mallory HYFire electronic ignition, remanufactured original type 3-speed transmission.

Edelbrock hi compression heads

N.O.S. “Hush-Thrush” fully functional side pipes, circa 1964.

2 - Holley 94 carburetors remanufactured and recolored.

Remanufactured FORD steering wheel.

Edelbrock intake with Bee-Hive oil filter. Fuel pressure regulator and gauge, Holley electronic fuel pump. New radiator.

SPAL electric fan with temperature controller. PowerMaster alternator in generator housing, 12 volt.

All glass new, safety type, lightly tinted.

COKER 15” steel wheels and FORD trim rings.

Custom arm rests and custom dash knobs, all billet aluminum.

Parallel rear spring conversion, TCI with remanufactured 9” Ford rear, 3.23 ratio.

Front axle new, 2 inch drop, custom spring.

Power disc brakes in front, 11” drum in rear. Dual master cylinder. ALL lines, hoses, new.

LED conversion tail lights in original housings

Custom wiring harness built/installed by electronic engineer.

Interior by “Dondi”, suede leatherette with white surrounds. Trunk fully upholstered. BMW carpeting.

Ghost flames air-brushed in side accent, all hand striped by “MAX” of LI.

Electric wipers, fully operational heater (original type).

Class 3 trailer hitch with wiring and custom drop hitch, for custom, matching MULLINS Trailer, (Available, ASK if interested)

SONAR CB radio, circa 1962 fully restored both electrically and refinished in original hammertone colors, fully functional included.

Custom am-fm radio with auxiliary inputs.

Runs great, I have had the car sine restoration, drove about 2000 miles so far, no troubles.

Deposit of 1000.00 due via PAYPAL within 24 hours of auction end, balance in 7 days, cash, bank check, or wire transfer. Car does not leave until funds are cleared.

I will gladly hold the car for 30 days after payment for you at NO charge in our air conditioned collection. This car has not seen rain, it lives in our private collection’s building, which is air conditioned and heated year round.

I will assist in shipping arrangements should you need assistance. Time to trim our collection, way too many cars, not enough time to enjoy them all.
