Very Nice 1969 Ford Mustang!! See Video! No Reserve!
1969 Ford Mustang Description
Selling my 1969 Ford Mustang. Owned maybe 8 years, and don't get out in it like I used to,so letting it go. Been kept in garage as long as I've owned it and with prior owner also. SEE YOU TUBE VIDEO of car by going to You Tube and searching "1969 Moose". In the video, I take a few minutes to walk around the car, start it up, and rev it for you. Let me say, the exhaust sounds really good, and motor really strong. Much better in person than it sounded thru the video
I'm not a mechanic, so please arrange to come see it for yourself before you bid if you'd like to. I'll do my best to honestly tell you what I can about the car. All work was done by prior owners, but I have some receipts to go with the car. One of the receipts that came with the car looks to be a receipt for a new motor in the year 2000, from two owners ago. And based on the way it runs, I believe that to be the case. Past owner thought it was either a 302, or 289 with 302 heads. Has Edelbrock intake and Holley carb. Has nice shifting automatic transmission, with power steering. Flowmaster Headers were removed and power coated by prior owner. Has the SSBC disc brake conversion on the front. Car runs and sounds great. Brake booster replaced, new flywheel, and water pump by prior owner. Paint looks good from 6', but does have some paint cracks in a couple small places, and normal small scratches. A few minor small bubbles on doors, but overall, very very little rust on the car. Underneath looks great. Interior is in good shape. Car runs great and gets looks everywhere it goes. Great looking and reliable enough to drive it anywhere. I've taken it on trips 5-6 hours away over the years, and never had a problem. Starts up every time, seems very reliable.
Could use a few things that I'm aware of it you want it just right......Hood needs to be adjusted (see video), I may get to it before it sells, I may not. The window felt guides need to be replaced, but I think I've got them in the trunk to go with the car. Car has some scratches and such, not a show car, but looks great, and ready to go. Overall, a very solid Mustang that is reliable and really needs nothing to get out and enjoy it right now.
Check my feedback and bid with confidence. No reserve auction. If you don't want to wait, the buy it now is a fair price for the car also in my opinion. Please don't bid if you don't have the means to pay for the car at the conclusion of the auction, or don't have the wife's permission to buy it. $1000 non-refundable deposit due at the conclusion of the auction, and remainder due within 7 days of auction end, cash or certified bank check to be verified by my bank before car is released. Buyer responsible for pickup and transport, but I will work with a shipper if buyer arranges. Buyers only in continental US. I reserve the right to end auction early if car is sold locally. Car is sold "as is" with no warranty, implied or written. Car located in Asheville NC.
