1977 Ford F-150 Super Cab Ranger "Trailer Special Description

I'm relisting my truck because the successful bidder failed to pay for the item. Please don't bid on this truck unless you are serious about buying it! False bids waste time and money.
Selling my 1977 Ford Ranger XLT Super Cab due to health reasons. I've had the truck for 4 yearsnow and I have spent a lot of money rebuilding the front end, steering box, and engine work. The chassis is rust free andthe interior is original and in great shape. The engine runs beautifully although I was going to rebuild the carb and replace the EGR. I believe the mileage is accurate and I've had several Ford mechanics look at it and they believe it is original mileage as well. There are several issues that need to be addressed; the dash pad must be replaced, I was going to take it out and have it covered, also, there is some rust on the roof, drip rails on one side and there is approximately a 4" rust spot over the driver's side. No evidenceof rust in the interior, this was my next project but I'm 77 now and having some medical issues. The truck is solid and I hate to see it go but it needs an owner that will do the necessary work to bring it up to factory standards. This is a great price that I'm asking, once it is restored it will bring twice my asking price.On Oct-19-18 at 09:17:36 PDT, seller added the following information:

Several people have asked me about the rust issue. I've taken several pictures of the roof and you can see that the rust is running along the drip rail. I took a picture inside the cab at the area directly under the rust area and as you can see there are no watermarks. It has been raining here on and off for several weeks so if it was going to leak the roof of the cab would be wet. I believe that the rust is on the surface.

A couple of people have asked me if the vehicle has ever been in a flood. No, the vehicle has never been under water. I live north of San Antonio in the Texas hill country at an elevation of900 feet and I've lived here for 10 years and although we have had some very bad rain storms this area has never flooded. always high and dry.

I noticed that it says 'cassette player' in the description, that's because eBay does not have an '8 track' on their list. It has an 8 track player, not a cassette player. Also has a built inCB Radio, this was an option in the 77 Ford and is part of the radio. It needs service, it did work.

A question has come up as to where the steering wheelis located. I described it as being on the 'right' which some people have confused with the English vehicles which are "left hand' drive. The left and right of a vehicle are determined by standing in front of the vehicle, facing it, and that would make our American steering wheel on the 'right' and the English on the 'left'. Most people determine the left and right of a vehicle while sitting in it. Sorry if there was any confusion, the steering wheel of this truck is on the 'left' whilesitting in it, so it is American.
