1966 Ford Thunderbird Coupe Landau Special Description

1966 Ford Thunderbird Barnfind
1966 Ford Thunderbird Coupe Lanau Special vinyl roof. 390 cubic inch big block ford FE motor, 3 speed automatic transmission. 78,636 original miles. Born in silver mink metallic paint and since been painted over.
A true barnfind car, The vehicle was last on the road in 1998. The vehicle now has a clean and current title in my name. 4 brand new whitewall tires were just installed. It rolls and moves freely, drivetrain condition unknown, but doesnt look like too much to get it fired up. Perfect ratrod or restoration project. Worth saving and everything it needs is available online cheap. I would restore it myself but Im not in love with it and would like to pass it along to someone else that would enjoy it.
The body has no dents or damage just typical rust. All the glass is good. The interior is in really good shape for its age but needs a thorough cleaning. The headliner is falling in the rear and the carpet and lower door carpet needs replacing. The major rust areas are the driver and passenger foot wells, R/F fender, trunk floor and the rear lower quarters where previous rust repairs were made is starting to lift. All the gauges and interior trim are in good condition and should polish up very nicely. The top of the engine was disassembled when purchased but most of the parts are there, including the high performance 4 barrel intake manifold. (See additional photos)
Vehicle is being sold in as is condition. I am trying to be as descriptive as possible, everything pictured is what you get. You are welcome to inspect the vehicle in person and ask as many questions as possible.
Thank you.
