1935 Ford 5 Window Coupe - Built in 1958 - NO RESERVE!!!
1935 Ford Other Description
NO RESERVE!!! BID TO WIN!!
1935 Ford 5 window coupe. I have history and contact information of every living owner back to 1958. In an interesting twist, the owner in 1958 was one of my high school teachers in the late 80's. It has spent most of it's life inside barns, shops, garages, etc. Which has helped preserve it's integrity.
The naugahyde interior and metallic laquer paint were done in 1962
Extremely straight and very rust free body with only 5 small pin holes in the tail pan and 3 in the right front cowl, with slight bubbling under the paint on the left front cowl. Contact me for detailed pictures.
The car currently has;
1950 Ford knobs on dash
1950 Mercury door and window handles
New Drake shift knob, floor mat, and pedal pads
New correct material top insert
1942 Flat head with what I believe is a 1938 or 1939 trans
Mercury wheels (Reversed in the rear)
Dropped tube front axle
1940 Ford pedals, and new 1940 brakes all around
Windshield cranks out, cowl vent functions, rear window rolls down
It also includes these parts, not yet installed;
Edelbrock aluminum headsOffenhauser 3 x 2 manifold with 3 Ford script carburetorsVery tight 1938 Ford steering box with column and steering wheel2 - Non-reversed 15" x 5" wheels (for the rear)Correct, functioning 1935 Ford rear shocks
The black and white picture is of the car in September of 1962
This is real deal built in the 1950's car with 60 years of documented history. It is a perfect candidate for The Race of Gentlemen, The RPM Nationals, The HOt Rod Hill Climb, Pendine Sands - VHRA, or any other traditional, period correct car event.
The car is currently located 66 miles north of the California border on I-5 in Oregon
I have a clear current 1935 Oregon title in my name.
I prefer cash in person. However, I will take PayPal, and work with your shipper (domestic or international) to get the car to you.
