1992 Ford Ranger. This little truck turns more heads than any of my other cars, and I have some pretty serious sheet metal in my garage!!
2.3 L, 4 cylinder engine, 5 speed manual transmission. 93K+ miles on odometer. Super solid Florida truck!!!
DJM dropped front I-Beams "dream beams", 4 inch drop to front end (Frontsprings are stock to maintain ride comfort) and a DJM flip kit for a 5 inch drop to the rear end. The rear shocks are newDJM products. The transmission has new syncros. New clutch, new pressure plate, new slavecylinder, new pilot bearing. Brand new StopTech Performance Red calipers and pads. New Dynomax exhaust. The tires are from Diamond Back Tires with less than 1000 miles on them. The new rims are from Vintage, in California, covered with highgloss black, base coat, clear coat (Front rims 5 inches wide the rear rims 7 inches wide). Thebody paint is Eastwood's satin black "rat rod" urethane. Hood was louver plates installed. Thebattery is new. The carpet and headliner have been replaced, and Dynamat under the carpet andunder the head liner. Shift boot and shifter have been changed. No dash cracks. All glass is good. New window tint. New headlights and tail lights. Seats are in great condition. Air Conditioning is in good working order, and blows nice and cold, and the radiator has been replaced. The truck rides nice. It has a good stance and "attitude".
Note: This is not a fast truck, it's all about the look and attitude and not outright speed. That being said, a 2.3 Turbo swap would be perfect for this little guy.
Truck is in nice shape for a '92, but it's not perfect. It's got a small exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold when the engine is cold. I would describe the paint job as presentable.. Paint and body is an amateureffort done by previous owner.
If you have any questions, please ask. I did not do the custom work to this truck, it was already completed when I bought it, but I will try and answer any questions you may have.
