For sale: 1966 Ford Bronco 4x4, 289 engine and 3-speed manual transmission, Dana 44 front axle.
It is originally a U14 Half Cab Bronco, but has the full wagon cab on it at this time.
This Bronco was last registered in 1981. It spent its life in West Texas, until it was brought to New Mexico in 2017.
Runs, Drives, solid chassis.
The Pros:
Solid chassis
Rockers are solid
Rear floor sheet metal is good
Doors are solid
Very little rust throughout
Dana 44 Front Axle
V8 289
The Cons:
Front floor pans have some rust
Brakes need to be done
Fuel lines should be replaced, just old rubber
Headlights need to be wired
Optional replacement:
Could probably use some front fenders, and the lower section of the rear quarters.
It's a 52 year old bronco, but it's a good running truck. There are fewer and fewer of these available. This Bronco spent its life in the desert Southwest.
It is located in Alamogordo, New Mexico, about 78 miles north of El Paso.
