This 1933 FORD Street Rod is a one-of-a-kind custom machine that epitomizes what Street Rodding is all about! The car is ready for a car show or special event, but unlike most vehicles, it can also be DRIVEN and enjoyed since so much time was taken to make sure the engine, transmission, braking, cooling, climate, and suspension systems were dialed in and issue free! We have put about 125 miles on the car, and know that it was sold just over a year ago with 159 miles on it to the first owner since it was built, so the odometer reading of 1409 miles is believed to be an accurate representation of the cars mileage since it was finished. The builder had owned the car for 50 years, and wanted to see his vision for it come to life, but was unable to drive and enjoy it due to health issues. The ALL-STEEL Henry Ford body is in remarkable condition, and is straight, solid, and clean all around. Customized steel fenders give it a modern swoopy style, and the Outlaw grill is a perfect addition as well. Suicide doors, shaved trunk, and stock-style hood all add to the overall appeal. There are no signs of any rust or rot, and the cars body panels show no bondo patches or hackneyed work. The beautiful House of Kolor 3-stage finish in Pearl Orange is exceptionally nice, and shows only a few minor signs of use and enjoyment (like stone chips and light scuffs) and no damage or disrepair. Panel fit and gaps are very good all around, and only the truck shows a bit or lift in the bottom from the brand new hydraulic lift struts on the trunk. As they get used they will relinquish some of that power. Chrome on the car is in excellent condition, with nothing notable that some polish and a little elbow grease wouldn’t address. Remember, we don’t send these cars out for crazy details and polishing because we want you to see them the way they really are! All photos are taken with an iphone 6, and are unedited, ACTUAL representations of the vehicles. I do this because I want to continue with my track record of 100% happy eBay customers, and you need to see the real car, not a photo-shopped version of it. Polished parts and bright work is also wonderful, and would clean up even nicer. Exterior lights are all like new, and work and look perfectly. Glass is exceptional all the way around, and the rear roll-down window and front roll-out window work exactly as they should. All seals and weather stripping are in like new condition. The Boyd Coddington Aluminum wheels are in amazing condition, with no curb damage or markings, and they shine beautifully! They are sized 17” in front and 16” in back, and are wrapped in BFGoodrich rubber that has at least 90% or the usable tread life remaining. Tires are meaty LT345/55R17’s in back, and P235/45R17 up front. The chassis on the car was completely reworked and upgraded to be the perfect Street Rod set up! A new Mustang II front end was fit to the frame rails, with chrome lower arms that peek out at shows. Power steering was added to make sure anyone in the family could drive it comfortably and safely. Front disc brakes work with the rear drums to scrub off speed with ease. A narrowed 9” FORD rear end has freeway friendly gearing, yet more than enough oomph to light up the rear tires at a red light if that is your thing. Shifting is handled by a rebuilt TH400 transmission with LOKAR shifter and safety lockout. Power comes from a 383ci Stroker motor that started out as 350ci block with a 400ci crank, and then had all new internals and externals installed. It was overly dressed, as it was built to be driven, not cleaned, but it still shows well at shows, and is easy to maintain and keep after. The motor is not some over-built thing that needs constant adjustment and tweaking. It is a reliable, easy to maintain, and built for longevity powerplant that is ready to go whenever you want. All wiring in the car was redone during the build, and everything electrical on the car works as it should. The chassis is clean, but would need wiped down and cleaned more to be “mirror ready”. A custom dual exhaust system is cleanly routed to exit out the back, and it sounds fantastic, with a nice throaty rumble at idle, and a good bark under hard acceleration. On the highway, you can still carry on a conversation with your passenger, which is good or bad, depending on the passenger is! Inside, a clean and neat interior looks period correct yet modern all at once. Upholstery is issue free, including the seats, door panels, rear surround, kick panels, and pillar panels. Headliner is also issue free, and has a function dome light and radio bin installed overhead. The trunk release is the little black button on the driver side. Seatbelts keep everyone safe and legal, especially in States that require them. Vintage Air handles climate control duties and works exceptionally well. It is R134a since new, and has no issues. The vents are retro-modern in style, and look great in the car. Tilt steering column works perfectly, and is fit with billet controls for the signals, tilt, and hazard controls. Center gauge surround holds the clean, white face/black letter gauges from Classic Industries, and they all seem to be working as they should. Carpeting is like new, and is installed over layers of sound and heat proofing. All edges are professionally banded and finished, and door sills have clean aluminum covers. Center piece is banded and trimmed to set it apart, and the billet surrounds compliment the billet LOKAR E-Brake and shifter handles with matching boots nicely. Open the trunk, and it is fully carpeted and trimmed in matching upholstery and looks fantastic as well. A hidden cubby behind the snap-secured panel hides the battery, and fuel is easily accessible is a safe and approved cubby at the trunks rear. Overall, this is one of the coolest looking, best driving, and well-built ALL STEEL Street Rods you could ask for.
