1965 65 Ford Galaxie 500 Base 352ci, 27,000 original miles, new paint, *LOOK*
1965 Ford Galaxie Description
For sale is my 1965 Ford Galaxie 500.
The car was purchased last year and has been a delight for me. I need to sell to free up room, therwise I wouldn't lose her.
It is equipped with the original 352ci engine that is in VERY clean shape for its age. The car was in Ohio for most of its life and was owned by an auto-body garage. The car is free of dents and the paint is beautiful. The red was done 2 years ago over the original Wimbledon white and everything was done - door jams, runk and hood. The chrome is really good save the rear bumper. The interior looks like a time capsule - no tears, ips, tains, igarette burns etc! The carpet is 90% clean and rip free. The white headliner is also 100% and 99% free of blemishes. The old-fashioned white wall tires are brand new - with less than 1000 miles ($1000 worth). There are a few things that need looked at - the front lights stopped working (switch?), he clock doesn't work, nd the new power steering pump has a leak from the back of the unit from over-tightening the bolt. I have been told, nd the title states it as well, hat the car is a 27k car. The interior and engine lend to the credit of this as well. The engine starts with minimal effort and runs very nicely. The transmission has been a rock as well with smooth shifts all the way to highway speeds. I have driven this car 70 miles at a time and at 65 miles an hour with no problems at all. The car turns heads EVERYWHERE i've driven it and does well at the car shows too. It comes with a clear title and some original Ford brochures fro 1965.
The car is listed for a very fair price and is worth every penny for the smiles it makes. It is being sold as is - as it is now FIFTY years old. I will help with shipping as much as possible and will be available daily to get it sent if necessary. I would feel comfortable driving anywhere, ut for purchasing sake, would ship it to make sure it gets there safely. Autotransport 123 is the company I have used multiple times and recommend them highly. $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of sale and full payment due within 10 business days. I would prefer wire transfer or cash in person, ut paypal is ok with an extra 1.5% payment to offset Paypal's rediculous 2.9% fee. Please email with ANY questions whatsoever. Thanks and God Bless.
