Low mileage California car, second family owner, garaged since new
1969 Ford Bronco Description
Very clean 1969 Ford Bronco
Purchased new by my business partner's father and uncle for their oil servicing business from Crenshaw Ford in Los Angeles on January 31, 1969.
Always well maintained and garaged in Southern California.
Upgraded for personal use in the early 1970s with the addition of power steering, power brakes, a roll bar, winch, air conditioning, double shocks at each corner, beefier later model front axle housing, larger rims with all terrain tires, rear fender flares, high lift jack, off road lights, console, etc. Color change to blue at that time from original lime.
Used very little after that, and garage stored for many years until I purchased it five years ago and began restoring it.
First year of the optional 302 V8. Has a three speed column shift manual transmission.Marti report included which documents original options, along with original window sticker and sales documents.
The following has been done in the last five years and approximately 4000 miles:
-Repainted with no rust or dent repairs needed-New fender flares added at the rear-New Holley 2 barrel carburetor installed (original included)
-New ignition tune up, plugs, wires and Pertronix electronic upgrade-Exhaust upgraded to new dual exhaust with heavy duty chrome tips
-Front brakes upgraded to disc
-A/C recharged, new condenser and reliever dryer installed
-Drive belts and coolant hoses replaced-Fuel lines and brake lines replaced as needed
-All five wheels repainted with five new BFG A/T tires mounted & all new chrome lug nuts-New warn locking hubs-Vintage style Sun tachometer added on steering column-Hydraulic lift supports added for hood-New relays for off road lights-Air and fuel filters replaced, many other miscellaneous maintenance and upgrades made
This Bronco runs and drives great. The original mileage is just under 80,000. All gauges and lights work, even the original AM radio works. The heater and air conditioning work well, and the switch and gauge work to go back and forth between the two factory fuel tanks. Also equipped with a tow package, heavy duty tow bar, under hood battery cut off, fire extinguisher, ax, mallet, tool box and high lift jack. Kept in a garage and on a battery tender when not in use.
Since the restoration work was completed this Bronco has primarily been used in shows and cars and coffee cruise ins...
