1969 Ford Mustang BOSS REPLICA Description

DATE ON PICTURES IS INCORRECT, IT SHOULD BE 11-03-18

IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A MUSCLE CAR LOOK, THIS COULD BE IT. The 69 fastback/sportback car are hot. This one is red with satin black outs, Boss 302 decals, Boss 429 hood scoop, Mach 1 interior, GT wheels, dual exhaust, rear window shade and more. IS THIS A REAL BOSS? No, its a replica/copy. Real ones cost a lot more. HOW MANY MILES ON THE CAR? It is reading 99995 today, but I don't know for sure. HOW IS THE TITLE? Clear title ...in hand, signed of correct, VIN matches tag on car. WHAT IS THE HISTORY? All I can tell you is that it was made in Dearborn, it was shipped to the Ford DSO district of Louisville. We bought it form a dealer friend near Cincinnati. HOW IS THE BODY? I consider it good, no thick under coating. The floor bottoms have been replaced with the correct metal, torque boxes look solid, frame rails solid, rear drop downs behind the rear wheels have been replace with flat steel. HOW IS THE PAINT? consider it very nice upper end driver quality. Here is what I mean by that, the shine is very nice, no dents, I see no rust bubbles, the metal is straight when I look down the sides. You have to look with a critical eye to see specs and some touched up chips on the edges (like corner of hood).

HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Very good Mach 1 seat covers, Mach 1 carpet, Mach 1 door panels decent, good dash pad, steering wheel is a cheap one. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! HORN NOT WORKING! GAS GAUGE WORKS! OIL, TEMP AND VOLTS ARE IN POD UNDER DASH! GAS GAUGE WORKS! WIPERS WORK! HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumpers look new, door handles great, emblems good, trim between side window front and back has some pits. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It runs good, I hear no rattles or knocks, it has a 4 barrel Holley carb, looks like a 750 CFM ( I consider a 750 a little big for every day driving), detailed decent. Past owner said was a rebuilt 302 out of a 1988 Fox body Mustang. HOW IS THE EXHAUST? It sound like a Muscle Car should, it has the loud deep sound. Look new, Flow Master mufflers, new pipes, nice dual tips, full tube headers. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It a FMX automatic, I don't think its the original. No history on it. HOW IS THE GLASS? Windshield is very nice, side window decent. 1969 Mustang side window were less than to be desired. The do roll up and down, the drivers side does have some wear, but does the job. The 69s glue in and 70s bolt in, a kit is made to upgrade the windows. The ones in it now will get you buy, but are not as smooth and perfect rolling up and down as modern cars. HOW ARE THE TIRES AND WHEELS? Good BF Goodrich tires, nice GT wheels other than some pits on the passengers side front beauty ring. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I consider it driving good, I don't like the way the linkage type power steering feels. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? 4 wheel drum brakes, no power, new brakes shoes, new wheels cylinders, new front rubber brake lines. Brakes work good for what they are, I feel no pull or bad vibrations. HOW ARE PANEL FITS? Normal old Mustang fit, hood closed good (back gap is a little wide, doors close good ( you do have to close a little hard because of new rubber. The drivers door is out a little on the back lower corner. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? East Tennessee, Athens, Tennessee 37303. BOTTOM LINE IS this is a nice driver, its not perfect, look at the prices of the upper end ones on ebay, "you will not like the price". Pictures make most all car look more perfect than they are, this one looks real good, but it not a roll out of the trailer Show Queen. Come look, come inspect and be happy!
