1977 Ford Bronco Sport Package 302 - Automatic Description

1977 Early Bronco Sport Package with 24,079 original miles! One of the most original Early Bronco’s I have personally seen! Runs & drives! 4wd, lights and all accessories work! Still equipped with original wheels, tires & hubcaps from 1977.
Original 302-2V starts right up. Automatic transmission shifts as it should. Goes into 4wd with no issues. Original Power Steering works great with no concerns. Has original Power Brake Booster. Factory front Disc Brakes. AM Radio and speaker works and lights up. Electric wipers work in all speeds. Was ordered with Factory Heavy Duty Front Springs. Heater and blower fan are in working order. Dash gauges light up and are in good working order. Has factory rubber floor mat along with Rear Headliner.
All original sheet metal. Front floor toe boards were lightly patched in a couple spots from previous owner. Doors don’t sag when opened. Main floor structure is solid. Has rust in the usual Early Bronco pockets that moisture would sit and would need attention to make it a solid Bronco. Hard top is in excellent condition with no concerns -no rust on any part of the Top. Tailgate opens & closes with no issues.
Frame looks to be in solid condition with some rust scale. Auxiliary tank does need attention- I believe the rubber filler neck hose leaks. Rear tank holds fuel with no issues.
Glass is in like new condition and complete!
Spare tire & brackets are still in tact.
Seats are all original and in great condition with minimal wear and have not been recovered. Still equipped with original seat belts. Rear has the mounting holes for a seat but does not have a rear seat.
All original Bright Red Paint that’s never been touched up or re-sprayed.
This Bronco runs & drives. Has probally not been driven more than 20 continuous miles in years! Would have to be trailered to its location after sale due to spongy brakes and the engine needs a tune up for a longer trip (filters, plugs, etc....)
Recap:
Paint: 100% original “Bright Red Paint” that has never been re-sprayed.
Trim: Very nice chrome trim around windows & doors. Very shiny & in excellent condition!
Body: original & uncut sheet metal that has rust in the usual pockets. Great foundation for an “as you go” project. Rust is most present in front fenders & rear inner quarters. No bondo or any body work has been done on this Bronco. What you see is what it is - nothing hidden.
Floor Pans: All original except for small patch work done in Driver & Passenger Toe Board. Corners of rear have rust/corrosion. Main foundation is solid. Seat platforms are in great shape & solid!
Engine: 302 that’s all original that starts & runs. Would benefit from a tune up (plugs, wires, etc...). Typically fires up on the 1st crank of the key!
Transmission: Automatic that goes thru the gears with no issues. Shifts smoothly. Gear selector works great along with still having a functioning neautral safety switch.
Transfer Case: 4wd works great. No issues that I can see.
Electrical: Headlights, taillights & brake lights are in working order!
Steering: Original power steering that works great with no concerns. No noises or issues.
Brakes: Powered Brakes that have Disc in the front & Drums in the rear. Brakes work but will need attention to be on the road safely. They are spongy and would need a good once over.
Glass: Excellent condition!!
Top: Excellent condition. Paint is original and in very nice condition. Drip rails are in great shape!
Interior: Front buckets in great shape. Original rubber floor mat & rear headliner. Dashpad is in excellent condition. All dash controls work. Seat belts are all original.

This Bronco is VERY original! Very few out there with this kind of originality. It does have rust on the sheet metal - more in some places than other areas. It is 99.9% complete and would be an incredible low mile Bronco to have as a project or a complete restoration if that’s the route you wanted to go.
Comes with clean & clear Title that matches all Vin #’s on the Bronco. Also have an official Marti Report that has all the information about the Bronco.
