1992 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Description

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1992 Ford Mustang for purchase. Another round of government restrictions at the end of the 1970's meant that in order to still have muscle the size and weight of the car had to shrink considerably. The Fox body Mustangs became the 3rd generation of the legendary line and ran from 1979 to 1993. These Mustangs popularity carried the historic line through a time when many died off. The Fox Body is not...very similar to the large, steel muscle car era ponies, but they are undeniably fun to drive. The setup of a large engine compartment on a car that isn't incredibly big is ideal for customizations and pro-street builders. The Mustang offered for sale here comes with a file of receipts totaling over $12,000. The P275/50R15 Mickey Thompson rear tires are brand new. The 165/80R14 tires remain in good condition. The tires are mounted on Weld racing wheels. The 302 v8 runs well and sounds great and is paired with a manual Z sped T5 5 speed manual transmission that was bought new in 2009. Despite the listed the owner claims that the car has been rebuilt entirely from the ground up and the car has just a handful of miles on it since its completion. The car has had a Diablo chip professionally installed last year and at this time it also had new spark plugs and Moroso spark plug wires installed along with a new computer module. The car was Dyno tested and all the work was done at Port Sheldon Auto in Hudsonville, MI. The Mustang rides on Strange racing adjustable struts and shocks with 11 difference performance settings. Other features include a roll cage, cowl fiberglass hood, headers, aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan, MSD ignition, and a Spectre cold air intake. The car came from Florida and has been very well taken care of during its time in Michigan. The car is in excellent running and driving condition and is ready for its next owner.
