For sale here I have my fairly solid 1948 Ford F1 panel truck project with a clear KS title that matches the frame stamp and glove box plate. It is a complete original other than the Mercury Y block V8 engine and automatic transmission that was put in it decades ago. The engine turns over by hand but I haven't tried to get it running. The panel has a complete dash and it's original bucket seats. There is a wood petition built behind the seats with a window to see to the back and a gun rack. The front fenders have the typical rust in the seams and where the running boards mount to them. The front floors are starting to get a little soft but could be used. There are a few tiny holes in the running boards. The bottoms of the doors and rockers are all solid. The body of the panel is as solid as you can get. The filler that is in the rear fender areas of the panel was used to fill dents on the old blue repaint that is mostly worn off. The filler was not used to fill holes. The rear valance below the doors is bent up some but repairable. The taillights are in nice shape. All doors open, close and latch like they should. All of the glass is bad and needs replaced. The stainless grille and headlight rings on the truck are in perfect shape thinks to the bumper guard. The original chassis is solid. The panel has a pipe frame mounted on top of it. The hood and door for other vehicles in the back of the panel are not included. The truck will have tires that hold air for transport and it is selling with no reserve. There's a $500 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of auctions end with full payment due in 7 days. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.
