1960 Ford Thunderbird Description

1960 Thunderbird Convertible, T-Bird.
I purchased this car in 2010 from the West Coast and it has been in dry storage since purchase. The previous owner replaced the gas tank, tires, top, upholstery, brakes, carpet and floor insulation prior to my purchase. I have not licensed or driven this car. The motor runs great, no smoke or weird noise. The gas in the tank is fresh although the mechanical fuel pump does not pull up gas. I have installed an electric fuel pump and external fuel source under the hood to run the car. Brakes work but are touchy and will need service to be a driver. Transmission shifts into drive and reverse without hesitation. Has Power Windows. Power driver seat, and Power Top. Power top and trunk lid lift cylinders are disconnected and not tested. Included are two New Top Lift Cylinders and Two Deck Lid Lift Cylinders if you need them and a new heater core. Power windows on the passenger side do not work, power seat does not work nor the radio, I never checked why. The top and window weather stripping was removed by previous owner and included if you want to reuse it. The body, floors and trunk are rust free and very solid with the exception of one area behind the right door shown in the photos with rust underneath and some bubbling in the paint in front of the rear wheel. Some paint is peeling as shown in different places. The car may have originally been white and repainted years ago. There are chips and nicks in the paint as shown. Chrome should clean up nicely for a driver. The seat upholstery was replaced and could use cleaning. The back of the passenger bucket seat needs to be re-done and the back cover put back on.
Things I know that are missing: The motor for the panel that attaches to the deck lid when the top is down; horn ring included but broken; right side inside door handle included but needs replaced, Hood latch knob, fender skirts. I am not aware of anything else. The trunk floor and spare tire well are solid. Dual Exhaust is quiet but old. No broken glass although there is a small rock chip on the right side if the windshield. Shown in the photo. The car has been kept running through the time I have owned it, and under its own power moved in and out of the garage, Never licensed or driven on the highway. There is a small oil leak in the front of the engine when warmed up. Power steering works and no leaks. Battery box is good. Keep in mind the car has not been on the road in over 10 years and therefore needs to be thoroughly checked and must be transported. I have told you what I know. There is no warranty, return or refund of any kind. If you have a question ask before bidding. I do not watch ebay. I check messages in the a.m. only. If you ask questions late you most likely will not get an answer. I work every day and this car will be sold to pay medical bills. Inspections by appointment prior to the end of the auction. $1000 deposit through pay pal within 24 hours and full payment by wire transfer in 7 days.Car is stored inside and safe but I would like it removed within 3 weeks after the auction ends if possible. I have a clear Florida title in my name. Car and paperwork remain with me until full payment has been received. The car will drive onto your trailer or transport. Buyer is responsible for all transportation cost and scheduling the car to be picked up. Keep in mind the car is not restored and needs restoration. Latest Classic car value for a number 4 is $11,825.
