1955 Ford Thunderbird rolling chassis steel body.
1955 Ford Thunderbird Description
I bought this car in 1998 pretty much as you see it. It was originally red and is a real 1955 Ford Thunderbird. The only thing I did was I bought a hood (originally black) and mounted it. Otherwise it’s as it was 20 years ago when I bought it. It has been sitting in a garage for at least 30 years. The car has been in Arizona a long time, maybe its whole life.. The Chassis is rust free and in excellent condition. The car appears to have previously had the floor plans replaced, but otherwise looks to be in good shape. It is pretty straight with no major dents. Would make a great donor for a rusty car or restomod. It comes with what you see only. The windshield is in good shape, but there is no door glass. There are a few spare parts in the trunk. The original VIN plate is gone and has an Arizona assigned VIN (see picture) and clear AZ title.
No steering, no engine, no transmission, no interior. I paid $3000 for it 20 years ago.
On Mar-04-19 at 16:10:43 PST, seller added the following information:I have had numerous people ask if this car has fiberglass front fenders. The fenders are the original steel. Some fiberglass bondo has been laid down by the previous owner (20 years ago) to build up around the marker lights. The marker lights holes will have to be smoothed out to fit the marker lights. I have no reason to think there is too much bondo in the car namely because after 21 years of ownership, there are no signs of cracked bondo. If you have any other questions please let me know.
