1957 English Ford Thames 300E panel delivery, 2.8 Ford V6, Automatic transmission, Pontiac Fiero front suspension, Mazda rear end, complete frame up hot rod build. Looks and drives like new.
Ford UK produced the Thames 300E from 1954 to 1961. Based on the Ford Anglia platform it was designed for in town delivery with its short overall length, a load volume of 66 cubic feet and a carrying capacity of about 700 lbs. They were originally powered by an 1172 cc four cylinder engine and a manual transmission. This example has been upgraded with a 2.8 liter V6 engine and an automatic transmission. With a beefed up chassis and suspension it makes for a great little parts hauler, shop delivery truck. With its new bright red paint and cream colored 15 inch wheels it really catches ones eye.
