1966 Ford Ranchero
1966 Ford Ranchero Description
1966 Ranchero with a low mileage 289 V8 engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. Engine is a mild performance build that runs on pump gas but has a nice sound to it. It has Keith Black flat top pistons, ild hydraulic performance cam, delbrock aluminum intake manifold, delbrock carb, oller rocker arms, SD distributor, eaders, lectric fan and miscellaneous dress up items on it. Car is solid white with professional hand painted blue pinstriping on it. The interior is mild custom like the rest of the car. I would consider this to be a "Cruise Night" quality car (I am an autobody shop owner with 36 years experience). I have driven it to a few cruise nightsmyself and it always draws a lot of lookers (it was even NSRA inspected at one event). The paint looks good but not great. That would be a pretty fair representation of the entire car actually. I tried to show some photos of the underside of the car...there is some rust in part of the floor pan that has been capped off but not repaired properly. All in all, ou would spend over $3000k to just build this motor and these cars are not easy to find anymore. It will be a fun car to cruise around in and should prove to be an goodinvestment that will continue to appreciate. Please ask questions before bidding. A deposit of $500.00 through Paypal will be due within 48 hours of auction close. The remainder is due in cash only when you pick the car up in SE Kansas within 7 days of auction close (Kansas residents will have to pay 9% sales tax). I could possibly store the car a little while past the 7 day period but I will still need to be paid the balance within the 7 days of auction end. I do have clean and clear title in hand. NO RESERVE. Thanks and happy bidding !
