1973 Ford Thunderbird Coupe 460 CID V8 3 Speed Automatic
1973 Ford Thunderbird -- Description
I bought this car at auction, what was told to me at the auction was this, the car was first found in a garage where it sat for 19 years 1 owner car all original but seen overspray in the wheel wells but I think the overspray is from repairs of bumping garage pulling in/out, the wheel openings stick out and currently has minor damage (scratches) front and rear wheel openings see pic's. So what has been done since I bought it, I changed the complete fuel system front to back, fuel pump, fuel line front to rear, new fuel tank and sending unit, new starter, changed the front and rear breaks front rotors, calipers, pads, bearings in/out, rear shoes and hardware, flushed break lines, complete tune up, new battery, 2 detergent motor oil changes 1 more to go, drove the car around the block 2ml. ran great w/no issues. what still needs to be done ? flush the cooling system, flush the transmission, change the tires, also changing the front springs and shocks (waiting for new parts) springs are noisy shocks are no good and the car needs a real good cleaning, so far so good nothing leaking everything is working car is complete, even though I'm still making repairs the asking price will remain the same, I want the car to be safe and road worthy.
