1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Description

I have owned this Mustang for the last 18 years and occasionally take it out cruising. Originally intended to have it professionally restored back to its original Winter Blue. This is a Real Deal Mach1, not a clone or wanna by or now they even say Tribute, Marti Report verified attached. No dents anywhere, all trim and glass present and in good condition. Rear window louvers are the dealer installed aluminum originals. Engine runs well and strong although not original. It is a period correct Windsor block, dont know whats in it, never had it apart. Has a new Elderbrock carb, Pertronix ignition and new mini starter. Originally a 3-speed car, it had the top loader 4-speed in it when I purchased it and it shift well. New Clutch, pressure plate and flywheel resurface recently. Rear is original except recently I installed a PEM Racing Auburn Detroit Tru-trac center section with 3.00/1 gears with its original 28 spline axles. Although the brakes are 4-wheel drum, they operate well with new Inline tube pre-bent stainless steel brake lines and flex lines as well as new stainless fuel line and new fuel tank/sending unit. Steering is manual also with its original steering box that is tight. Mechanically no issues. Interior is original Mach1 with a little bit of wear as seen in pictures. Guages and speedometer operate as they should along with all signals and lights. Rim blow horn does not operate although both horns are in place. Exterior: All panels are straight and doors, hood and deck open and close well. Minor rust in lower door corners. Both rear lower quarters are full of bondo as can be seen from inside of trunk. Trunk pan has rust around tank and will eventually need replaced. No other rust on outside of car. It does appear on lift that the drives side floor pan has been professionally replaced at some point prior to my ownership. Original wheesl are in spectacular condition with no rust and BF Goodrich T/A radials have less than 200 miles on them. Full dual exhaust sounds great. Frame appears to be solid throughout front to rear. This is NOT a show quality car, it is however a nice complete driving muscle car with faded paint and everything opertable except for its original AM radio is MIA. Feel free to come and inspect prior to bidding. No buy it now, best offer above reserve gets to take it home. Email me through ebay for phone to talk or additional info.
