1970Ford Mustang This Pony has been DRASTICALLY upgraded and yet still managed to keep the vintage look of a 70.This Mustang has gone through a rotisserie restoration. Special ordered by Ralph E Rokenfield. The car was delivered on April 8th 1970. This was a special orderedfactory road race/muscle car. 1 of 1 verified by the Marti report. TheMarti report shows that this car is 1 of 1 based on the motor, transmission, exterior and interior colors, and rear axle options alone. The Marti report does not take the following factory options into account;quick ratio steering, power front disc brakes, competition suspension, and color keyed racing mirrors.This car was ordered with more performance options than most Mach 1's, 1969 Shelby's, or 1970 boss 302's, yet is a basemodelMustang! The body is re-finished in a stunning Ford redcomplementedby a classic black stripe hood! It also hasnew chrome and polished stainless steel trim.Take a look at the pictures and they will show SMOOTH contours and CRISP body lines! The car presents itself extremely well and the paint is super nicealso. All panel gaps line up well and doors open and close as they should. You can look down every panel with confidence!All trim has been polished to SHINE! The glass on this car is NEW and easy to see through. The grill is in great condition and the headlights are clear as well. All badges are new. The taillights are not weathered in any way and are free of cracks. The bottom of the doors are crisp and sharp! The rocker panels are solid as well. Over 200 pages of receipts, documentation are included!This carreceiveda complete color change toa factory Mustang red as stated above. The original color was white (Ford code M 1619-A).The car body, under side, under carriage was stripped down to a bare shell and bare metal. All windows, trim, body panels, and interiorwere removed. The body, and underside of the car was then sand completely media blasted and repainted. The interior is in amazing condition as well with high back bucket seats and a new fold down rear!Instrumentation is handled by its refreshedgauges and its original wheel is still in place! The front and rear seat upholstery were professionally reupholstered with reproduction covers. All electrical works perfectly as well as all gauges. Over $700 in Dyna-Mat was installed inside the entire cabin of the car. Upgraded shoulder harness seat belts, Viper alarm, Kenwood CD player Sony speakers that prove GOOD sound quality. There is a perfect dash with no cracks,new headliner, door panels, and carpet as well! As you pop the hood you will notice a numbers 351 Cleveland andaset of Hooker headers connected to areworked exhaust system to create that distinctive 351 tone that gets EVEN better when you get into the gas. The 351 is paired to aNUMBERS 4 spd close ratio trans that has been reworked with aBlow proof bell housing, drive shaft loop, heavy duty drive shaft/u-joints, Hurst shifter & linkage, Modern Drive hydraulic clutch pressure plate, throw out bearing, fly wheel, and stainless steel braided hydraulic clutch lines. The original numbers matching close ratio four speed was rebuilt at the time of restoration! At the rear you will find a NUMBERS Ford 9in true-locrearend that is 3.25 geared! The built original 351 Cleveland (approx. 450 horse power) has a TON of money thrown at it including.... All machine work being performed by pro race shop Mad Cap Racing in LakewoodColorado. Theymainly dorace motors for professional high end drag/race cars.The original 351 Cleveland big valve heads were ported and polished and boasts Roller rockers moved by aComp X-Treme energy cam.Exhaust- 310 lift/224 duration. Intake .298 lift/218 duration., Holley 750 carb, Edelbrock Performer intake, MSD electronic ignition, and a MSD coil! It also features anAluminum engine dress up kit, high flow oil pump, chrome oil pan, flex fan, heavy duty battery, battery cables, voltage regulator, polished aluminum 100 amp alternator,billet 3 groove pulley/bracket set by March pulleys, K&N air filter, and Taylor pro cut plug wires.The motor was updated with custom oil lines for extra lubrication on back mains 7 and 8 as 351 C's are known for not getting enough oil to the rear main bearings. The motor was professionally jetted and tuned for maximum performance and efficiency.Attached to this numbers engine you will find 3 inch Hooker headers, dual exhaust, and Flowmaster mufflers!The chrome strut tower brace looks incredible and the factory radiator was re-cored and updated to high performance applications. The factory quick ratio steering was updated with a Borgeson quick ratio power steering pump/system make this car a joy to drive andEdelbrock racing shocks were installed front and rear. The Rear pan hard bar, front and rear sway bars, sub frame connectors stiffen it up and make turns a BLAST. New brake lines front and rear, rear drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, rear brake hardware kit, brake master cylinder, rebuilt power brake booster, and stainless steel braided brake lines make the car stop VERY well!
