1937 Ford 2 Door Sedan Description

This classic 1937 Ford is a professionally built custom which mixes the best attributes of the custom hot rod appearance with the streetability of a well-tuned muscle car. This car is rumored to have been built by legendary hot-rodder George Barris, ut unfortunately no documentation or proof of that claim exists. Even so, he quality of the build makes you think it could be true. Beneath its crowd gathering body, ou'll find a reliable fuel-injected LT1 350 cubic-inch V8, ndependent front suspension, nd a whole lot of other top notch hardware. If you're a hardcore street rod fan who's been looking for the perfect custom to show off at the next cruise night, ND enjoy on the open road, our search is over! This hot rod has a dark-as-midnight attitude. You know it the moment you lay eyes on the super glossy black paint. It has a sinister kind of appearance that is only heightened by the hints of color that comes from the custom blue stripe and the airbrushed hellfire flames burning across the rear half. It's this same attitude that had most of the chrome removed and replaced with more evidence of a full custom build. It starts up front where the traditionally bright grille now looks like it consumes any light that will ever dare come near it. The bumpers have been removed which such an expert hand that everyone will forget they ever existed. The final touch is shaving off the door and trunk handles and replacing them with well-hidden poppers. Even the dual exhaust tips have been made flush so you don't see too much brightwork. But because this is a true American classic, t isn't completely devoid of chrome. You get it on those bright Budnik wheels that are staggered in size for an aggressive stance.Open the doors of this killer classic and you'll find a tasteful custom interior that perfectly combines the exterior's blue accent paint and yellow from the flames with this car's quest for a midnight black. The fabric and leather bucket seats are exceptionally comfortable and have a pattern that's repeated on the headliner. At the sides of those seats, ustom door panels carry all three colors in an attractive and comfortable package. And in between is a custom center console that houses the controls for the power windows, M/FM/CD stereo, nd modern R-134a air conditioning. The driver gets a tilt column with a custom steering wheel by Budnik that matches the alloys on the outside. Beyond that is a full set of VDO gauges, hich keep you in complete contact with what's going on in the engine bay.Your first look under the hood will make you think this is the same cool chrome-laden motor that any good hot rod needs, ut then you start to realize there's something more. Underneath all that show-worthy shine is a modern Chevrolet LT1 powerplant. The fuel-injected 350 V8 does quite a fine job of making sure it can take on all comers. But rarely will anyone get that far considering the sound that's generated by the headers and Super Turbo dual exhaust system will scare them off. It reliably gets power to the road with the stout TH350 three-speed automatic transmission feeding the Ford 9-inch rear end. This one also feels confident on the road with a reinforced A-arm front suspension and full four-wheel disc brake package. This '37 Ford street rod has a well-coordinated level of showmanship and usability that combines for a very versatile package.
