Thanks for looking at this beautifully restored 1970 Mustang Restomod. She's got a great stance, great motor, and a gorgeous body, all with less than 800 miles on the odometer since completion. I am selling her to achieve some future plans, but it has been my favorite car thus far. I has the looks of a Boss 429, but without the 200-500K price tag. I encourage those with serious intent to come inspect the car before purchasing, but she's as good looking in person as in the unretouched photos. Please read below for specs, and I welcome any questions about her that I may have failed to mention.
Exterior:- Body and undercarriage completely media blasted and repainted in beautiful Acapulco Blue - straight, wet sanded and shiny.Gaps are above average, panel fitment above average.NO. RUST. ANYWHERE.- New mirrors, spoiler, louvers, bumpers, handles, Boss 429 hood scoop, and custom billet grille.- All LED bulbs. Headlights, taillights, fog lights, side markers, and backup lights all clean original or new.
Interior:- Custom Painted Instrument panel from Mustangs To Fear with Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultralite gauges, blue LED illumination. Matching passenger insert.- Dash pad in perfect shape. New retro look radio, Vintage Air A/C controls, teak steering wheel, tilt column.- New seat upholstery front & back with original frames, new carpet, floor mats, removable center console, new seat belts f/r.- New deluxe interior door panels, hardware, inserts.- Mustangs To Fear one piece headliner, new sun visors and hardware.- Completely rewired with Painless Performance Harness.- Trunk is cleanly finished with upholstered covers, new carpet and clean hidden wiring.Drivetrain:- Well-built Ford 429 Big Block with Ford Performance Super Cobra Jet aluminum heads, Ford Performance intake manifold, Quick Fuel Technologies carb, DEI titanium wrapped long tube headers, new electrics and distributor, and aluminum radiator.- A/C on a 429! Cleanly plumbed Vintage Air system with chrome compressor.- New driveshaft mated to a performance C6 auto trans, 9" rearend (exact gear undocumented), and Currie 9 Plus axles.- New 2.5" exhaust, Summit electronic exhaust cutouts that take a great sounding motor and makes it BEASTLY.
Suspension:- Because of the big block 429, the front end was professionally re-engineered by removing the factory shock towers and adding coilover suspension with all new components, arms, sway bar, and bushings.- Front/rear disc brakes with red painted calipers, Wilwood fronts.- FOOSE Knuckle chrome wheels, 17x8 front, 18x9 rear with low profile tires in very good shape.- Rear suspension is factory leafs with lowering spacers, new KYB Gas-A-Just shocks.- Custom 2" welded subframe connectors
Undercarriage:- Clean, but not overdone. No surface rust anywhere. New gas tank, trans pan, and external finned transmission cooler. Never seen rain. Logically, during restoration some small areas of metal were replaced on the underside, but has been done cleanly, resulting in a totally sound undercarriage.
This vehicle is striking, and garners attention as a well-sorted package. This vehicle is for sale locally, so the listing may end at any time, but I encourage serious inquiries.
