1968 Ford Ranchero Description

About 16 years ago my wife and I decided to build this type of car. We found this Ranchero and started the project.
Now we are 76 years old and do not think we will ever be able to race it. So we are offering it up for sale.
We have all the documentation (receipts) for all that was done except the chassis and some other custom parts. We traded my Cadillac Eldorado for the chassis.
If you want specifics on the various parts of the car, please contact us. If your interested, please come and see it. We will start it and drive it backwards and forwards. It has a California registration and is currently listed as non-op. That means that you can go to a California DMV or your states DMV and register it with no late penalties.
The basics are a 429 cubic inch engine, a modified C6 transmission, a spooled 9 inch Ford rear end, a Mustang II disc brake front suspension, a coil over 4 link rear suspension, Mickey Thompson29 X 18.5 – 15 rear tires.
The items that need to be completed are: front windshield, front shock absorbers, front end alignment and the exhaust system.
There is a dent in the passenger side rear fender. That is my fault when moving things around in the garage.
The terms of sale are $500 upon doing the Buy it Now. The balancewhen you come to pick it up or within 14 days. We have a California pink slip that is clear.
The mileage shown in this listing is for the body, not the drive train or tubular steel race car frame.
The vin number for the 68 Ranchero is 8K48116763. Ebay's car listing system would not let me type it in.
I was asked by another Ebayer what we had done to the engine. See Below.
If you need more information or have questions, get back to use via the Ebay message system and we will respond.
