1946 Ford CONVERTIBLE COUPE Description

This Ford is in excellent condition. The outside looks stock with the exception of the wheels and tires. The car features a 4 inch dropped tube front axle with Mopar power front disk brakes. Cooling for the engine is accomplished by a custom radiator with a hand made custom fan shroud. The engine is a Ford 302 with a stock grind cam, an Edelbrock aluminum intake with a 600 Edelbrock carb. The stock exhaust manifolds flow into Flowmaster mufflers. The rear end is a Ford 8 inch. Power steering is provided with a GM 605 power steering box. The steering column is a 1948 Mercury with factory turn signals and a stock steering wheel. The stock Ford heater has standard Ford controls. The air conditioning uses a polished Sanderson compressor and fittings. The stock instrument cluster has been upgraded to 12 volt internals in the gauges. The custom sound system has the controls in the glove box with the C/D changer mounted in the trunk. The entire car has been done very nicely with excellent paint on a very straight body accented with nice chrome and trim. The interior has been very nicely done, with a nice cloth top. Overall this is a very nice car that can be driven with no problems.
