1964 Ford Falcon Futura Sprint
1964 Ford Falcon Sprint Description
This is a Futura Sprint. It has a 302 bored and stroked to a 331. Motor runs very strong. Factory 4 speed was removed and a late model 5 speed was installed. I believe the rear end is a posi trac but not positive, when I have driven on my road and gassed the car it leaves two black marks. I have all the chrome new headliner and carpet with many new parts like rubber seals, door and window handles, locks, etc. Needs door panels which are very reasonably priced from several suppliers. Body is solid with some filler here and there from minor accidents and dents in the past. The car is drivable but the windshield and back glass is out due to the new headliner needing installation. The car has a cheap paint job which was administered to show all the body work that needs to be done, shows up much better than primer. I have the factory buckets but car came with nice Audi TT leather buckets that are very comfortable and look good in the car. I purchased the car about 2 years ago with the intent of restoration but the wife wants to update our house so I am selling to use those resources for our house. The story behind the car that came from the individual I purchased it from said the car was a high school auto mechanics car. When the teacher retired he purchased the car from the school and soon passed away after retirement. So the car was used by the school for several years. But cannot confirm this information. I had to put a figure in mileage to list but actual mileage is unknown.
