MACH I convertibles were Not produced for model years 1971-1973. This convertible was ordered/built with options found on a MACH I

(Ford stopped building convertible for ~10 years after 1973)

Statistics for 1972 Convertibles:

• 6,121 produced (5% of total mustang production)

• 5,836 with V-8 engines

• Most Cars (~ 80%) had 302 or 351 cid with 2-V carburetor

• Approximately 20% (1,168) had 351 Cobra Jet (Q code) engines

• Estimated only 50% (584) were produced with the Ram Air Option
